About

Ocean Plumbing and Air is a family run business. A father and son work the same trucks you see parked outside your house, and the family name is on the side of every one of them.

That is not a marketing line. It is the thing our customers mention most often without being asked, and it is the reason we take the work personally. We are a licensed Florida plumbing contractor, licence CFC1432498, serving Miami-Dade and Broward around the clock.

The Family Behind the Vans

Plumbing is a trade you learn beside someone. In our case that is exactly how it happened, and it shapes how the business runs. The people who quote your job are the people who show up to do it. There is no call centre between you and the person holding the wrench, and no incentive to sell you work you do not need, because we are the ones who have to come back if it is wrong.

Being small enough that the owners are on the tools has a practical benefit for you: decisions get made on site. If we open a wall and find something unexpected, you get a straight answer about what it means and what it costs, from the person who will actually do the repair.

What 464 Reviews Actually Say

We hold a 5.0 rating across five Google listings in Miami-Dade and Broward, from 464 reviews. What matters more than the number is the pattern. The themes Google itself pulls out of our reviews are professional technicians, clear explanations, fair pricing and problems that get resolved. Not one of those is about being cheapest.

A recent one captures how we would like every visit to go: a customer called us for a water heater replacement, and while the technician was there he offered to look over the rest of the house. He found two leaking hose bibs that had been quietly inflating her water bill, replaced them, and the bill went back to normal. Nobody asked him to look. That is the standard we are aiming for.

Licensed, Permitted and Accountable

We are a licensed Florida plumbing contractor and we pull permits on the work that requires them. We schedule the inspections, and we hand you the closed permit when the job is finished.

This matters more than it sounds. Unpermitted plumbing work has a habit of surfacing at the worst possible moment, when you are selling, refinancing, or filing an insurance claim. A repipe or sewer replacement with no permit history can hold up a closing and can give an insurer a reason to ask questions. If a competing quote does not mention permits, it is worth asking why before you compare the prices.

The Work We Take On

We are known locally for water heaters and air conditioning, and we still do plenty of both. But the work we are built for is the bigger, harder jobs that many companies would rather pass on:

• Whole-home repiping in PEX or copper, where the supply lines have reached the end of their life
• Cast iron drain and sewer replacement, the defining plumbing problem of older Miami homes
• Sewer line work and excavation, including main line breaks
• Slab leak detection and repair
• Bathroom and kitchen renovation plumbing, from rough-in through fixture setting

Alongside that we handle the everyday things: drain cleaning, leak detection, water heaters, and 24/7 emergencies. Financing options are available on larger projects, and our workmanship and the parts we install are warranty backed. Terms come to you in writing with the estimate, before you commit to anything.

Se Habla Español

Miami is a bilingual city and so are we. You can discuss your project in Spanish with the same people who will do the work. Visit our página en español.

Where You Will Find Us

We work across Miami-Dade and Broward from locations in Kendall and southwest Miami-Dade, Doral, Opa-Locka and Hollywood. Our phones are answered 24 hours a day, because burst pipes and failed water heaters do not keep business hours.
